Calcium Therapy offers comfortable and rapid
treatments that preserve your teeth, gums, bone and
the existing dental restorations in or on your teeth. We
find the causes of gum infections (periodontitis,
gingivitis, or periodontosis) eliminate them and treat
the infections with calcium materials. This non-surgical
approach to gum problems quickly results in normal
homecare and routine six-month visits to your family
dentist for simple cleanings.
Whatever
condition you are in, even if it is "hopeless,"
within days of the Calcium Therapy, the teeth become
stronger, whiter, brighter, and the gums recover
their natural health. You will then have far less stain,
less plaque or calculus, fewer dental mishaps, less
gum recession, an easier homecare program, and a lot
more of your own teeth. At the Calcium Therapy Institute
we expect rapid, long-term results from the Calcium
Therapy and we get them every day.
Why? We know
this from 40+ years of experience. Drs. Manhart and
Steg are the most experienced dentists in the world
when it comes to calcium therapy of the gums, bone
and ligaments supporting the teeth, that is, the "periodontium."
Together, Drs. Manhart and Steg have invested 70 years
in clinical practice and research utilizing these
calcium materials and procedures, and other dentists and
scientists have contributed significantly to the
expertise of the Calcium Therapy Institute (CTI).
We welcome your QUESTIONS
about complete dental care as well, and for your travel
convenience we are able to see patients over some
weekends.

**** Resarch:
"Osteo-Endo
Cystic Therapy."
Our clinical findings reveal important information about
another cause of periodontal disease.
You see it almost every day:
Space between the
upper front central
teeth.
If
you ever see anyone with space between their upper
front central teeth, it is a
diastema,
and it is
NOT
just a "family trait," nor is it a sign of superiority. That space is rarely an innocent
development of the teeth or the bone. We have learned that
this condition is an infectious condition and part of a
pathological process that occurs in a specific location,
between the upper central teeth. Also, there is
a dead tooth involved as much as 90% of the time.
Ages ago we
were taught such a diastema is "no problem." This is
still accepted today, and our dental literature still reports
that most of the time such spacing
needs no treatment, is non-pathogenic (not infectious),
is neoplastic (a new growth of no useful purpose) and
non-odontogenic (not related to the teeth). Furthermore, if the area
has become
blatantly infectious with toxic drainage and tooth
displacement, surgery has long been the treatment of
choice, and rarely is a tooth involved.
We find NONE
of these to be accurate and make no sense.
In virtually every
case of "diastema spacing" that we have treated over
forty years there is a maxillary incisive canal
cyst
(nasopalatine duct cyst) between the central
teeth, which is draining toxic infection into the mouth,
and there is a dead tooth involved. Usually,
the cyst is moving the teeth apart or deviating the
roots of the two teeth. The tooth involved is usually discolored and
part of a
constant, low-grade infectious drainage into
mouth causing periodontal disease. The spacing often is
hidden
with crowns, fillings, or orthodontic treatment, but the
cystic infection remains.
A few decades ago we were told
by a brilliant oral surgeon to stop sending him patients
for surgical removal of such a cyst because the surgery
did not prevent the return of the cyst. We were at a
loss as to what to do. We had already learned that doing
just the root canal on the involved tooth did not work,
and now the surgery was not working. So, we tried
CALCIUM THERAPY instead of surgery. It not only
worked, and has continued to heal these cysts and the
accompanying periodontal disease. We refer to this regimen
as "Calcium Method of Osteo-Endo
Cystic Therapy."
We thought you would like to know. So, when you see that
space between front teeth, be aware, there is likely a
cyst and a dead tooth, and there is a non-surgical
solution, not a gruesome dental experience.
Smile and be assured that this unique therapy is very
successful. If you would like more details on this
condition and the therapy, go to:
