Loose Teeth and Bone Loss in the Jaw

Question: Hi Dr Mark, I am in desperate need of some advice…with 8 teeth in my bottom jaw and a partial is to be made, and 9 teeth in my upper jaw which includes a bridge and I just had temp crown put on a molar in preparation for an upper partial he [the dentist] says I need because of loose front teeth. He [the dentists] said my two front teeth and the 2 next to them are all loose and should be pulled with a partial made to hook on to my crowned molar???? He said that one front tooth is really loose (a II mobility) and the other three are at I, he said xrays show bone loss that is very prominent over the one loose front tooth and present over the others but not as bad.

I instantly started searching for ANYTHING that could help me save my teeth…well I started oil pulling but honestly I feel like all it really is doing is whitening my teeth and making my mouth a little more healthy but it is doing absolutely NOTHING for my loose teeth..HELP ME PLEASE…I have been so stressed out and anxious over this whole thing!! Afraid to eat anything because the teeth in the front of my mouth are all I have to chew on and the one is soooo loose.

I thank you tons in advance for any advice you could give me. ~ JD in WI

Answer: Yes, the calcium materials can help you out of the Black Hole someone has shoved you into. Sit down and be at ease. Take a deep breath and delay any more dental work. Your dentist is on the right track with partials, and yet, we have to help you save those teeth now, not later. Send us any x-rays you have paid for, or have them sent. They are yours to do what you want with them, at no cost, and now! Esp. ask for the upper
front central incisors, small PA x-rays of the teeth. Stop using anything in your mouth but water and a brush till you get the calcium materials. No, not that either. Nothing else. Do not have any teeth extracted or any old dental work redone. Stay on good softer food for now and we will send the homecare kit and the Calcium Carpules to use.

Look up our paper on the site. It’s not much dentalese so the public can get into, but very deep clinical science you can appreciate as a health provider. It’s x-rays are what I’m looking for with your situation.

Kind regards, Mark DDS
