Question: I have an extremely disfiguring keloid scar from a C-section last November. Is Calotion likely to be of benefit? I cannot find the ingredients list – is it paraben-free? Many thanks in advance for your help. Dr. S-C, UK
Answer: Yes, the calcium materials are paraben-free. The active ingredients are calcium, zinc and a common ester. I have used our Calotion and CZ Skin crème concentrate a lot on my surgical scars from heart surgeries. This last time was about a year ago and the 8-inch scar is 80% gone, for my third surgery. The leg scars were gone a lot faster. The Calotion penetrates deeper and the crème stays longer. Heat seems to make the crème work even better. Let us know if we can help any more.
